BREAKING NEWS: The police have exhumed the body of the late singer Mohbad, also known as Ilerioluwa Aloba, and have arrested a nurse in connection with his death.

 

The Lagos State Police Command has officially verified the exhumation of Mohbad, the late singer also known as Ilerioluwa Aloba's body on Thursday. Additionally, they have apprehended the nurse responsible for administering a fatal injection to the singer before his demise on September 12, as confirmed by PUNCH Metro.

SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the Lagos State Police Command Public Relations Officer, conveyed these developments during an exclusive telephone interview on Thursday, stating, "Mohbad's body has been exhumed today, and an autopsy will commence soon."

When questioned further about arrests related to the singer's death, Hundeyin mentioned, "I cannot provide information about arrests at this time as I lack that update. However, I can confirm that the nurse is in our custody."

It is worth noting that the acting Inspector-General of Police, Olukayode Egbetokun, had previously instructed the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Idowu Owohynwa, to launch a prompt and thorough investigation into Mohbad's tragic passing. This directive was communicated by the Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, in an official statement issued late on a Saturday night.
